Tamaqua area residents awoke this morning to flurries and blowing snow.
The rest of the day today (Wednesday, March 26, 2014) is expected to be sunny with northwest winds around 20 miles per hour. Temperatures will remain below freezing today into tomorrow.
Thursday’s forecast will be partly cloudy with southwest winds around 12 miles per hour. Thursday night calls for a 50 percent chance of rain and ice.
