China Moon, a well-known eatery in Downtown Tamaqua, is closed.
Today, Monday, March 17, 2014, owner Zheng Ming placed “for rent” and “for sale” signs on the front and side of the building.
Ming, of Richland, Virginia, said the 10-year lease ended and the prior residents chose to move.
He continued saying the property, 249 East Broad Street, is available for rent or for sale. The two-story building has two bedrooms and 1 full-bath upstairs.
When asked the price, Ming said a negotiable $80,000.
Schuylkill Parcel Locator shows the latest sale date as December 19, 2012 (from Yim Kuen Chan).
