Betty Dolinsky, 86, drops off donated items at the home of a homebound individual.

Betty Dolinsky, who celebrated her birthday yesterday (Friday, March 14, 2014), doesn’t let 86 years of age stop her from keeping busy at her church and spreading smiles in the community.
A modest Dolinsky, of Owl Creek in Tamaqua, said she simply enjoys keeping herself busy.
She has remained active at her church (Trinity United Church of Christ in Tamaqua) her entire life, saying she has taught Sunday School for 40 years and currently serves as financial secretary, coordinator of Trinity’s Food Pantry, elder on consistory, and bookkeeper of the church’s Founder’s Hall.
Dolinksy, who’s husband (Milton “Mitz”) passed away in 1986, said she also enjoys to sew on her free time.
When asked what motivates her, Dolinsky replied, “I’ve always been like this. I love my church.”
