A high wind advisory remains in effect until 12 PM today (Thursday, March 13, 2014) for our area.
Winds are expected to range between 25 to 35 MPH, with gusts up to 45 MPH.
The warning tells people to expect minor property damage, downed tree limbs and isolated power outages. It added difficult driving conditions for high-profile vehicles.
Winds will remain strong most of the day, then slowly tapering below 20 MPH after 7 PM tonight.
Friday’s weather is mostly cloudy with no chance of precipitation and SSW winds average in the high teens. Friday’s temperature will remain above freezing.
Saturday and Sunday will be party cloudy with temperatures ranging between 17 and 51 degrees.
There is a 40 percent chance of a snow shower Monday.
