According to PPL’s website, as of 11:55 PM tonight (Wednesday, March 12, 2014), 200 PPL customers are without power in West Penn Township.
Talk on Facebook shows a downed line on Golf Road around 9:30 PM as the possible reason for the power outage.
According to PPL’s online outage map, a total of 4,333 customers were without power as of 11:55 PM. Counties most affected were Lycoming (2,163 customers), Monroe (772 customers), Lancaster (514 customers), Schuylkill (321 customers), Carbon (139 customers), and Cumberland (127 customers).
There is no word on when power is expected to be restored.

Winds will lessen slightly into morning, although winds above 22 MPH will remain most of the day Thursday.
