Members and volunteers of the Stonehedge Gardens in South Tamaqua are holding an opening reception today (Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014) from 1 PM to 6 PM at the gardens. The retrospective event, titled “The Way We Were”, will last through March 30th.
During the reception, visitors will be able to learn more about the life and achievements of the garden’s co-founders Russell Keich and Don Herring, as well as other early friends of Stonehedge Gardens.
“The response from people visiting is the best thing of all,” said Keich.
The gardens, located at 51 Dairy Road, is open 365 days a year. It’s website is www.StonehedgeGardens.org.
