Members of the Tamaqua Volunteers community initiative group are holding a large community snowball battle this Sunday (February 16, 2014) in Tamaqua at 1 PM at the Willing Skate Park located behind Boyers Market.
Organizers stated that this is a great way for everyone to relieve winter stress as well as bring the community together for a fun winter event.
The event, open to all ages, will last about 20 minutes and will include a few snowball contests and a large snowball battle at the end.
A donation of $1 is asked, but not required; which will benefit the victims of last month’s Ben Titus Road fire in Rush Township.
No tools or close throws allowed, as this is a family-safe event.
Everyone is invited, no matter where you live.
