WHAT TO EXPECT IN ROUND TWO

Pictured is a snow-covered minivan in the Dutch Hill section of Tamaqua today.

Round one of this storm left the Tamaqua area with about 7 inches of snow today. Round two is expected to start around 8 PM tonight and drop an additional 4 to 7 inches of snow and freezing rain. The heaviest accumulations are predicted to start after 10 PM and taper off around 2 AM.
Round two will also bring wind gusts reaching 30 MPH.
Snowfall should completely end by 6 AM Friday.
