According to PPL’s website, a power outage in West Penn Township left 1,511 customers without power around 11 PM today (February 8, 2014).
PPL is telling its customers that power should be restored by 2 AM.
Comments on Facebook state the power outage affected homes in Andreas, Snyders, School Drive, Ridge Cup and parts of New Ringgold.
Another comment on Facebook states that someone saw a flash at the intersection of SR309 and SR895 in Snyders. Of which, the person said it could have been a blown power transformer.
As of 11:20 PM, the website shows 390 customers without power.
