14 people expressed their inner talent during the Tamaqua Community Art Center’s (T.C.A.C.) Paint and Sip held yesterday (Feb. 4, 2014) at the center. The theme of their oil paintings was “Pouring Wine”. Despite looking similar, each art work varies differently in style and form.
“The bi-monthly event serves as a fun night out painting, sipping and laughing with your friends,” said center coordinator Leona Rega. She added that no painting or artistic experience is necessary to attend the events.
The events last from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on the days it is scheduled. Event cost is around $40, which includes all materials. Organizers say that all you have to bring is your favorite beverage, lots of smiles and laughs.
Leona added that in addition to the four Paint and Sip events, they also have a Paint and Laugh event once a month for kids. The classes are instructed by Phillip Krivenko.
