The Tamaqua area is expected to get between 2 to 3 inches of snow this morning (Monday, February 3, 2014). The heaviest snow is predicted to fall between 5 and 11 AM. A winter weather advisory was issued for midnight to 4 PM Monday. It adds that some areas in Schuylkill County could get up to 5 inches. Temperatures will remain slightly below freezing for most of the day.
