A representative from the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) will be available once or twice a month at the borough hall in Tamaqua to offer free veteran’s claim service for veterans, as well as widows and dependent children of veterans. Upcoming dates are today Jan. 27, Feb. 10, Feb. 24, March 10 and March 24 at 9 AM.
During the visits, information and assistance will be provided for service connected disability claims, low-income pension, health care claims for service connected disabilities and low-income veterans and other questions concerning veterans’ benefits.
