MARIAN COLTS FOOTBALL HOLD SENIOR AWARDS BANQUET

Players, coaches, advisors and family members with the Marian Catholic Colts Football team held their senior awards banquet yesterday evening (Jan. 25, 2014) at Cappriotti’s in McAdoo.
Recognized were senior varsity football players Anthony Agosti, Sam Budusky, Lukas Damian, Michael Follweiler, Michael Grega, Stephen Hall, Michael McHale, Riley McHugh, Joshua Lex, Frank Nietz, Leo Skotek and Sam Tomlin.
Anthony Damiano provided the welcome during the event, with invocation by Sister Bernard Agnes IHM, Marian Catholic High School Principal.
John P. Malarkey served as Master of Ceremonies. Guest speaker was Colonial Joe Mitzen, United States Navy. Remarks and awards were presented by head coach Stan Dakosty.
Numerous awards were presented during the program, to include the Kevin and Nancy Trice also presented the Kevin Trice Memorial Award.
Senior managers were Becca Cullen, Diana Ketusky, Amanda Greenfield and Stephanie Quattrone.
Senior student trainer was Arianna Srinivason.
Senior cheerleaders were Samantha Brown, Kassandra Mantz, Christina Guzinski and Becca Paulshak.
Head football coach and athletic director was Stan Dakosky.
Varsity coaching staff were Lou Ceci, Jason Barron, Charles “Chick” Connely, JD Hackenberg, Pat Morgans and Rick Weidick.
Junior varsity coaching staff were Zach Barnisky, Jim Dudash, Zigmont “Ziggy” Kuczyniski and Ken Sneer.
Academic advisor was Veronica Scarpati.
Athletic trainer was Marc Gallagher. Medical staff was Dr. Jim Greenfield.
Video coordinator was Joe Wickersham.
