Members of the New Life Assembly of God Church in Tamaqua held a variety show to benefit two charitable programs last night (January 24, 2014) at their church.
The show consisted of singing, dancing, playing instruments, photography, visual arts display, gymnastics and a martial arts presentation by Janner Martian Arts of Jim Thorpe. The entire performance was done by members of the church’s youth group, church members and volunteers. Organizers encouraged anyone to stop by and enjoy the show, as well as to show support for the causes. Donations benefited the BGMC and Speed the Light.
The church is located at 407 Schuylkill Avenue.
