A driver called 911 around 8:25 PM today (Jan. 23, 2014) to report that cars were “all over the place” on Vulcan Hill Road (SR54 – between Barnesville and Mahanoy City). The driver added that a school bus was also trying to make it up the hill.
Police said the hill is snow-covered.
PennDOT was notified.
During the last snowfall a few days ago, numerous vehicles became stuck on the hill, some for almost an hour.
