Members of the Tamaqua Borough Council held their bi-monthly public meeting last night (Jan. 21, 2014) in the Tamaqua Borough Hall. Items discussed included new parking meters, sewer work completion of Swatara Street, approved demolition of the rear addition to 44 West Broad Street, a bid for 27 East Elm Street, decision to approve a double-sided sign at 116 East Broad Street, fire chief’s report, and various other topics.
Borough council meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at 7 PM in the borough hall. The public is encouraged to attend.
