Police, fire police and firefighters are in the process of closing the off-ramp from Interstate 81 southbound to westbound SR54 towards Mahanoy City. Police state that slick road conditions on the hill has resulted in both lanes being impassable and a few vehicle accidents.
People on Facebook add that drivers are getting stuck on both sides of the Vulcan, to include SR54 to Barnesville/Hometown.
