Emergency officials were kept busy today (Tues. Jan. 21, 2014) throughout Eastern Schuylkill County responding to weather-related incidents; most of which being fender benders or road closures. Pictured is a single motor vehicle accident that occurred this morning along Lincoln Drive near the intersection of Grove Street. Two young males were in the vehicle when they lost control and sheered a utility pole along Lincoln Drive. No injuries were reported. Rush Township Police stayed on scene with the occupants until the vehicle was removed by Hope’s Towing of Tamaqua.
