Tamaqua borough workers were busy throughout the late night and early morning today (Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014) clearing snow and laying down salt.
Many Tamaqua area residents, to include myself, were under the impression we were only going to get a dusting of snow. Mother nature had something else in mind; as almost two inches of snow fell throughout our area.
Today’s average temperature will be 29 degrees Fahrenheit. Tonight’s temperatures will settle in the high teens or low 20′s.
Sunday’s forecast is 34 degrees average and mostly cloudy.
