Family and friends came together today (Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014) during a benefit held in support of the late Debbie Dawson Hartman, who lost her battle with cancer last month.
Husband Bill Dawson said, “No words could describe the amount of generosity and love given by so many family members, friends and community members.” He added additional appreciation to his employer, DeAngelo Brothers, for paying him 10 weeks while Debbie was in the hospital.
The benefit consisted of an auction, bands, food and other activities.
A quote from a friend, prior to her death, on Facebook says, “Anyone who knows her knows she’s a beautiful, vibrant, young lady who doesn’t let anything keep her down.”
