Members of the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, along with 505 Facebook users, helped the Tamaqua Community Arts Center collect enough votes to win the PPL Non-Profit Grant Contest. PPL holds the contest regularly online via their Facebook page. “We at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, thank all of those who voted for our organization,” said Leona Rega, center coordinator. “We give special thanks to the many people who spent hours calling, texting and private messaging their friends to get out the word. Your support was amazing!” She encourages everyone to  check out their calendar of events page at www.TamaquaArts.org.
