NEEDLE BUGS
SEWING AND CROCHET GROUP
The Needle Bugs are a Tamaqua Salvation Army sewing and crochet group dedicated to the crafts of needle work. The Needle Bugs meet every Wednesday at noon at the Tamaqua Salvation Army. Most of their needlework is done to help seniors and babies at local hospitals and nursing homes. These donations consist of lap blankets, baby blankets, mittens, caps, and many other handmade items. The Needle Bugs are always looking for material and batting to be donated. Anyone wanting to join the Needle Bugs or donate materials can call organizer Janet Haggerty at (570) 668-4809.
